The Lion and the Mouse

Once upon a time a lion caught a mouse just in time for dinner. “You’re little but I bet you are juicy!” the lion said.

The mouse was so scared but he managed to ask the lion to spare him his life. “Please let me go mighty lion! I’m one year short to retirement. I promise to repay you someday” he bargained.

The lion thought for a while and eventually let the mouse go.

"So long sucker!" shouted the mouse as he ran away.

Moral of the story: What the heck were you thinking?
